Maine Public Broadcasting Network Kennebunk Firm Finds Unemployment Driving Down Health Insurance Enrollment A Kennebunk firm that tracks the health insurance industry is finding a continued drop in the number of people with health insurance, largely a result of the recession. While the drive to pass health insurance reforms has stalled, the need for coverage continues to grow. A Kennebunk firm, Mark Farrah Associates, tracks trends in the industry and its latest report shows a drop in enrollment in the insurance plans of the top eight health insurers in the country. MPBN Morning Edition Host Irwin Gratz spoke with Debra Donahue, a vice-president of market analytics at the company who wrote the recent report. Click below to listen to the interview. |
